Ask And Ye Shall Receive....

See..all you have to do is ask and I make your request a reality!

This was requested by an anonymous reader of my blog. The original soundtrack to the 1984 movie 'Teachers'.
Having never seen the movie, I can't tell you anything about it except it does have a who's who of '80s stars in it. Richard Mulligan, Ralph Macchio, Nick Nolte, JoBeth Williams, Judd Hirsch...etc.

Apparantly, and this is not a HUGE leap, but the movie is about teachers. LOL

The soundtrack, taken from the CD release, is mostly AOR music and not half bad, which is why I have both the LP and the CD. Enjoy!

Tracklisting:
01 - 38 Special - Teacher Teacher
02 - Roman Holliday - One Foot Back In Your Door
03 - Joe Cocker - Edge of a Dream (Theme From 'Teachers)
04 - Night Ranger - Interstate Love Affair
05 - Freddie Mercury - Foolin' Around
06 - ZZ Top - Cheap Sunglasses
07 - Bob Segar & the Silver Bullet Band - Understanding
08 - Eric Martin - I Can't Stop the Fire
09 - The Motels - In the Jungle (Concrete Jungle)
10 - Ian Hunter - (I'm the) Teacher

I was the anom who asked for Teachers. Thank you very much. I had the cassette when the movie first came out. The cassette had worn out long ago.

I have really enjoyed your blog and thank you for your time and efforts

Hi again Mr. Pop!!!

Just checking back... I'm still curious if you have a copy of Peggy Sue Got Married... or if, perchance, you might know where to find it?

Thanx for all the neato stuff!!!

I can't get it to open for some reason. I downloaded the file but it says "Could not extract the file. Command not supported." Anyone have any idea why it would not open?

Great one ! I too had this as a kid. Loved in a bad way the movie. Great 80s "moral" dreck. I'm down too for Disorderlies, but you might toss in KRUSH GROOVE then, and head into a whole post of that crap. I even had the ST to "Rappin", and I can assure you I never listened too it past the initial go through. I am however still down for a Scanner's ST post. Or a Last Man On Earth ( the laserdisc had the Price flicks score on it ) ...oh I got requests...GREAT JOB BTW !
I just put Manhunter on my Blog yesterday for those who want it.
